The aim of this blog is an open platform to share ideas regarding my ongoing research into innovations in learning in HE (centred on media practice-based programmes, but largely transferrable). Some of the key considerations are how student learning experiences in HE are shaped by the structures, policies and tools employed within the UK HE sector and if they are in any way fit for purpose in increasingly uncertain times. Why should a degree by 3 years? How can a programme of study be agile in meeting demands from learners, shifts in employment markets etc? What do we mean by ‘teaching and learning’?
So; an exploration of ideas and issues. Not necessarily answers, and often I may not agree with myself.
